    I'm closing the thread because there is no answer except the computer is obviously defective. No wonder wal mart had it on sale with such a discount! Then to learn there is only one repair place in the US! And the tech infuriated me! Thanks for everyone's advice! It mirrored my own...

    My brand new ACER Aspire ES - 15, N16C1 does not detect my built-in webcam. It shows my wifi printer for some reason. I delete the printer and try to reinstall and every time it shows my printer but NO webcam. Frustrated!
