Thanks for the tip; Installed Recuva per link and it found 10 photos and ignored 202 others on the camera. I deleted those 10 photos on the camera hoping to get 10 more or all of them; instead it gave me the original 10 plus the deleted 10...am trying to find out how to delete these "findings"...

I removed the Trojan virus with AVG; photos still on camera, but I can't retrieve them ---shows only MEMStick.IND..DCIM et al are missing. I just got back from Panama with wonderful photos and don't want to lose them...I tried uploading them to my USB flash drive with someone's laptop while away...
