    how to create a recovery disk for a toshiba from a different computer (hp preferred)?

    My toshiba satellite l55 crashed, and I wasn't able to make a recovery disk. After wiping the hard drive, now I'm getting a message of checking media, and then a no bootable device -- please restart system.
