No, it won't work. Laptops just aren't made for any kind of upgrades except for RAM/SSDs.

Both do good at VR. The 390 scored 7.1 and the 970 did 6.9, but 970s usually overclock great so they should perform identical with some OC. Just pick the card you like.

Well they either work or they don't, depending on your current hardware. If you don't got a GPU, then they won't work properly. And no, you can't add a graphics card to a laptop.

For normal everyday use yea why not, I'd personally go for something else if it's just for surfing and stuff...i wouldn't buy a $1000 laptop just for that. :D If you want to play any games on that, don't even try without the core.

If you want it just preorder it. There aren't any hardware bugs. If you preorder software like games, then yes, some may contain quite a few bugs on the release day. But laptops or hardware in generel? No, way. Just preorder it and have fun. :)

7.1 Surround headset should be enough to get it to work. Im also using one (Razer Kraken) and dont have any additional sound cards and my motherboard is also 3 or 4 years old. Works without any problems. :)
