    Tried removing the drive and refitting but no change so I guess I'm out of luck

    dvd not in bios

    I have a toshiba laptop and the DVD drive no longer shows in BIOS settings. If I put a disk into the drive it spins and the light is on but that's all. Any ideas what is likely to be wrong?
