This sounds like something worth trying. How would I run the utility on it if the SSD in question contained my OS, though?

Is recovery or reformatting not an option? I’ve always had the OS on the C and have cloned it from there. I have to look up even how to install the OS from scratch without something to copy it from.

I’m afraid of that being the case. It’s under a year old which really sucks. If that is the case, what can I do? My OS was on there and I can’t boot from the D.
