I have an hp2000-2b19WM laptop and I'm trying to perform a factory reset. My screen is now saying diagnosing PC and preparing factory reset. Should I just leave it alone? Sorry, I'm pretty computer illiterate. Thank you!

i have an HP2000-2b19WM laptop with a broken screen. I hooked it up to an external monitor and it has been working fine but today I went to restore the factory settings and now it will not hook up to my external monitor and I cannot see the laptop screen because it is broken. Please help.... Thanks
