From what you said, and if you don't need instantly new driver as they emerge on nvidia (you can live 2 - 3 months on "old" drivers), then do not install experience. When I installing drivers I always uncheck experience.

Try to connect another monitor to your lap, to see what kind of picture you'll get. From what I can see, your graphics card is gone.

Try to find in sound settings, when using pandora, if sound setting is set to karaoke. Settings to karaoke blocks voices.
