No drop, that I know of. When I went to try hooking the laptop up to a different monitor, the laptop basically shut down on its own. Now, the laptop will try to turn on (makes booting noises and icon lights go on) but will automatically shut down after about 30 seconds. I read on a few blogs...

My Lenovo G550 turns on but displays only a black screen (appears as if screen is not turning on). I tried draining the battery and restarting, but it made no difference. Anything else I can try?
