BUMP from the dead! The other day a single drop of water was on the touchpad and had the same results (mouse would pretty much move where it wanted) I wiped the water and the touch pad is still fine. Could it be a bad ribbon cable ? I have to open the case again I just don't want a problem.

I haven't downloaded them because I wouldn't flash from windows (I heard too many horror stories). Maybe the exe download has an attached iso ?

I was on HP and Dell's website and noticed that the bios updates are .exe Is there any way to convert the .exe into an .iso that would boot itself from the CD drive instead of windows? thanks in advance
