    Laptop screen is broken and it wont work on a monitor

    Hello, I have a HP laptop and I dropped . My sceen is totally broken it wont even turn on but the laptop turns on I can hear the sound to. Ive tried to use an external monitor but it doesn't work. I need my files from that laptop really bad. Please someone help me WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
