I love my Nova launcher, purchased the pro version for $0.10 during sale. Since then I never looked back. It provides tons of customization, Icon resizing, renaming apps, widget resizing, app drawers and almost everything you may need in a launcher.

NO, you are partially wrong about this because with my Android Lollipop 5.1 I can move all the apps to my SD card and my phone is not rooted either.

You can login to your Google account on other Android smartphone of yours and sync the data but that's only possible if you had not kept syncing feature disabled on your lost phone. All your numbers will show up on your new device depending on the last time your device was synced with Google...
