    I have already tried both booting from a bootable DVD and a memory stick to no avail. The BOOT MENU still shows no drives and can not be updated in the BOOT MENU's Boot Order line (line greyed out). Laptop boots to WIN 10 from internal SSD

    Yes The problem is not that the sys won't boot from the internal SSD.

    Yes, the laptop still boots to Win 10 even though there is no stipulation of the internal SSD showing in the boot menu. The drive, at one time, showed in the boot order menu, but is now gone.

    Hi rgd1101, Under the boot menu in the AMI BIOS there is now NO line to enter the Boot Order, it is gone. I have tried updating the BIOS to no avail, Thanks

    Hello, My ASUS M509DA laptop (AMI BIOS) has dropped out the boot options and there is no line under the BOOT menu to reinstate the options. How do I fix this, thank you?
