    Can I use hdmi on my laptop to TV without a screen in my laptop?

    So I was thinking , can I use hdmi to TV on my laptop without a screen , and I mean with no screen. It's an acre aspire e1 531 . I removed my screen completely. I tried with my hdmi and it's not working , my samsung just says check signal cable
