The G430 is a great gaming headset. In terms of comfort, audio, and features there's really no competitor for it. Comparable headsets from brands like HyperX and Razer are more expensive.

Getting the GPU first is safe, and for a replacement PSU I'd recommend a Seasonic S12II/M12II, XFX TS or Corsair CX M (gray label ones).

The Lenovo Yoga 500-14IBD and Yoga 500-14ISK should fit into that price. You can get them in various configurations.

Sounds like there's likely something physically wrong with the laptop if you can't even access the BIOS. I'd send it in to MSI for repair/replacement.

Look for Lenovo Yoga laptops. They have touch displays and can be found in various configurations (including ones with a dGPU).

A dGPU will be a significant help in any application that supports GPU acceleration, Intel's iGPUs are really just included to remove the need for a dGPU in certain machines like ultrabooks, mini-PCs et cetera. I'd go for the Phantom.

Again, for media-only just get a Chromecast, if you want to stream games use an Nvidia Shield or Steam Link.

If it's just media streaming (no need for fast response for things like gaming) a Google Chromecast would be a good idea. You can stream any webpage with it and there are Chrome apps that let you stream virtually any video file. It's also very easy to set up.
