    Subwoofer stock vs powered

    If i remove stock subwoofer from my home theater which is not powered one and connected directly to amp and add a powered subwoofer will it reduce load from the amp. Will reducing some load increase the sound throwing capacity? My amp delivers 350 watts of power.
