    Can I just add any ssd to my alienware 17 r2 laptop or do i need some kind of laptop size ssd?

    Hello Maybe the Dell tech info is poorly worded. My Alienware 17 R2 laptop came with a 128 GB M.2 SSD and a spinning 2.5 inch hard drive with Windows on the SSD. Photoshop upgrades keep filling the SSD which is what led me here. Thanks for this info it is very helpful.
