I'd try a Kaspersky rescue disk. It's basically a bootable antivirus cd, so it can scan before windows loads. https://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/rescuedisk

Ccleaner is nice for trimming excess fat off of the hard drives every so often. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is pretty easy going and worth giving a run once in a while. Make sure you have a high quality surge protector or (ideally)a battery backup. Don't spill anything on it. I generally install...
