I currently have an Acer Aspire E11, it's getting on a bit. I don't do gaming or video/music streaming, mainly need it for internet searches / emails/ messages, occasionally skype. I would like as much memory as possible. Thanks in advance.

My laptop works fine when connected to a projector for powerpoints etc. But when I tried to connect to the TV with an HDMI cable, the display on the TV screen did not match that on the laptop screen i.e. the TV showed a weird version of my desktop screen - icons along the bottom taskbar but but...
