    $500 Laptop for school and light gaming

    I would go with this ACER ASPIRE E5-571G-38VF, Comes with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 820M which can play terraria and Minecraft on High setting at 1366 x 768 and for $500-$600 dollars you get either the core i3 or the core i5 respectively, and at 15.6 inches it is a decent screen size.
