    Laptop for Coding

I always liked the ThinkPads for the keyboard and ruggedness for the work on the go. If you are so interested in Python and Java, "Linux friendly" is probably a desirable quality for the laptop. Generally, you want the most powerful CPU that you can afford and upgradeable RAM.

    Selenium in MacBook Air 2017

selenium is platform independent. It can run on Window Mac or Linux. As already mentioned, macbook air is a bit too weak for development purpose.

Dell XPS 15 9560 vs 9570 for uni student

worth is very subjective metric. you definitely get much more for those 200$. IMHO, if you can spend those 200, it will make your experience better for longer period of time as both extra 2 cores and a better GPU will be able to deal with your current and future tasks/games better.

    Laptop for Engineering

CAD programs are heavy on CPU, some benefit from GPU acceleration. without knowing specifics, it's hard to recommend something. you will benefit from a laptop with 6 cores/12 threads CPU at least (or 8/16 if it can fit the budget) with some discrete GPU.

Solved! Which one is best for web development

you will love the keyboard on the thinkpad. and the trackpoint is the best when it comes to do things without moving the hands from keyboard. though trackpoint worked for me only on ThinkPads. Dell's and HP's implementation was not that good. As for the RAM, 8GB is enough to start with. you can...

Solved! Which one is best for web development

I just like to have better GPU. and MX150 is considerably better than 930m But if that comes at expense of the RAM, definitely go for Asus. If you want something reliable/durable, look at the business lines from Dell and Lenovo. ThinkPads are the best IMHO

Solved! DELL Inspiron 7577 - EXTREME FAN NOISE

HWInfo does not have an option to control fans or anything else, it's a monitoring program. if you want to control fans, use SpeedFan for example. Also, make sure you have the latest BIOS.

    Refresh Rate Solution Required

there are not that many modern games that will do 100FPS on your laptop. GTX 960m is not that powerful after all.

    Refresh Rate Solution Required

depends on what your laptop support. most probably 1080p@144Hz wouldn't be a problem. keep in mind that Hz is not FPS. if your laptop is not able to do much more than 60FPS, there will be no benefit of 144Hz.

Can I upgrade my core 2 duo processor ??

even if CPU was upgradeable, which is not always a case with laptops, jumping to a different generation of CPU wouldn't be possible. simply put, the physical socket of C2D is different from i3/i5/i7. that not to mention different RAM requirements.

    Solved! SSD killed my laptop?

special (standard tech) equipment and some knowledge would be required to determine what really happen. theoretically, your laptop should work with this SSD.

    Solved! SSD killed my laptop?

if it was the SSD, you'd probably see some smoke. Most probably something happen during the upgrade. Better would be to take the laptop to a shop/service center
