laptop screen led up on pressing power button but cant see my desktop, works fine with tv monitor

If it is working fine on another display, then that tells me that it has something to do with the laptop screen itself. It could be the backlight that has gone bad.

    Macbook frozen logo

So, I have recently put mac OS onto this macbook pro that I have, because it didn't have an OS on it. Someone had removed it (for some reason). So, I hit command+option+r to do an internet recovery, and that seemed to work. Then, after picking the language and the country, it brought me to a...

Toshiba Satellite P50-C-128 No display after force shut down

Oh, boy. It seems you may have damaged the motherboard somehow. Especially since the screen itself, NOR the backlight is turning on. On top of this, it not showing anything on a monitor. So that's multiple things already messed up. The board is more than likely done for. Unless anyone else has...

First off, you could try going into device manager (from the control panel, or just type device manager into the search bar in the bottom left start menu) finding the graphics card under "display adapters". Right click your graphics card, and click update driver software. Then, click the search...

    Black screen on Toshiba

Is it possible that it could be the RAM? Try removing one stick and trying both one at a time. If it turns out to be neither RAM sticks, at this point it could be the processor or the GPU.
