    1080i vs. 1080p

    I have a Samsung rear projection hdtv that is 1080i (circa 2006). I want to use Apple TV on it (1080p). Is there any way I can change settings on the TV to make it compatible? Apple support says no, but I thought I'd ask to see if theres a way. Thanks.
