Let me make sure I understand the Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f4.5-5.6G IF-ED Zoom Lens would work as well as the Cannon EF 70-300MM F/4-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens,? I had a Nikon years ago and really enjoyed it and would like to get the same results as I did with the Cannon.

the only requirement on a lens would be if I could add an extension to it. I was using the 70-300 cannon and could not add extension on it

about $800 on the body, and the lens I am still debating on I not that picky as far as if is new or used as long as the used works
