I've done the update and the pop ups stopped, however it did say the BIOS did not need the update when I had it do it. I then was able to see the update in the ASUS Live Update log as well. So far I've had no troubles for the last several hours nor any more pop ups

I think this may be legit. I read through here and risked hitting update just now and got the same message saying BIOS was up to date and closing the tool. I went and looked at ASUS Live Update and had it check for updates... it said none were needed. HOWEVER, when I checked the ASUS Live...
