    my asus will boot up but will not let me open any programs. I can open the control panel but when I try to uninstall a program

    My Asus laptop will boot up, but I cannot open any programs except my control panel. When I try to uninstall a program it will not do anything. It's probably about 3-4 years old and running windows 7
