    I am using a headphone mic, sound comes through but it doesnt read the mic

    I am using Ear Force Recon Turtlebeaches, sound comes through well, but the mic doesn't go through. The mic can be unplugged from the headphones. All that comes through as a mic option is a mic that is in the computer itself.
