Mr. the-9, I forgot to mention that I would inherit the system in a year or so. It is possible that the 1020p may be needed if the thing ends up providing the video feed to an old monitor or HDTV. Also I am curious to see what it takes to overcome Silverlight and still produce a steady 1080p...

I have not been following mobile processor development for a few years. Now both AMD and Intel CPU's and APU's have hardware decoding of h.264. I suspect that some of the low-end processors still cannot play back streamed 1080 video smoothly without some choppiness. Where in the product lines...
