I'm currently using the free version of avast but i've been hearing bad things about it recently so i plan on just using windows defender combined with malwarebytes premium and adwcleaner. Will this be a sufficient combo or is there something better?

I am currently using the free premium trial of Malwarebytes, Adwcleaner, and HitmanPro to detect all sorts of online threats as I felt that Malwarebytes wasn't enough. Both Adw and Hitman found things that Malwarebytes did not detect. Is it ok to have all 3 plus an AV? Or is this unnecessary?
