So to be clear on this particular TV you need to insert two adaptors to use component, one for the RGB and the other for the LR audio. If you insert just the RGB adaptor the TV assumes a composite input. You cannot select component input in the TV's source list unless both adaptors are inserted...

More a confirmation that anything else would be useful. I have a new UE32K5500 Samsung TV (T-HKMFKDEUC-1154.0) and I cannot get component input to work. I'm trying to hook my kids wii up to the damn thing but it seems like the TV is interpreting the input as composite. As anyone tried this...
