There is one external ram slot, like, at all.

I was told that I could add 4gb, so I bought it. But when I opened the back of the laptop, I found the extra slot already filled with another 4gb.

Supposedly the limit of extra ram I can put into it is 4gb ddr3 1600mhz. It already had 8gb ram, I bought a 4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram, opened the back and saw one of those already sitting in there, it was put in by the manufacturer. So I may or may not have wasted my money on it, however I want to...
