hi,no it sticks,although the opening jingle sounds but there is still a blue sceen and no windows.....and i have to shut down and restart,which then gives options to restart in safe mode or start windows normally

hi,thanks for that,the original dell charger is noisy so i bought a new one off ebay which claimed to be genuine but clearly isnt. still need to suss out why it blue screens sometime on start up though,i was given the laptop with problems, i know its old but see it as a project to sort it...
