When you said you charged your brother's battery in your phone and it worked fine, are you referring to the old phone you had or the new one? If you still had the original phone, it would have been an easy test to switch the batteries around and see if the charging problem followed the battery...
I would have instantly assumed it to be the battery but I think you answered your own question in the update. It sounds as if the phone was not properly reading the charge while being plugged in.
Your best bet would be to contact Sony. It's hard to say. It could be jammed, something may have broken internally, there may be some sort of reset issue.
Depends on what you want in a camera. Do you want a quick point & shoot, or do you want something that you can use for better pictures? A lot of people are set on DSLR cameras, although the mirrorless cameras are often just as good if not better for many people who don't want the larger size...
Thanks! I actually ended up going with the Nex 5T because I found an open-box item on sale for $399. I was leaning toward the Nex 3 but it was $340 and I figured for the extra $60 I could get the tilting touch screen and NFC, which is great because my wife really likes the ability to instantly...
After having been burned by buying a cheap Cannon SD1400is piece of junk, I would like to replace my digital camera with something much nicer. So, here is what I'm looking for.
1. Portability - I'm not against a compact system but a full-on DSLR is way too big as I plan to use this camera to...
I have an Asus laptop and really like their products. As far as waiting for newer technology, that's a decision you'd have to make on your own. But, consider if you do that then six months down the road you'll be waiting around asking yourself whether you should buy now or wait until something...
First off, do you have an up to date antivirus program on your PC? If so, run a full scan immediately. I'd also download and run Malware Bytes and Spybot Search & Destroy as well as AVG Free. I know that may be overkill, but I have experienced viruses before where one software application...
I do a lot of typing, so not having a standard keyboard would be a huge issue with me. In addition, since both of these languages have characters that are not found in English, you could end up with some funky keys that you'll never use but will throw the layoff out completely. If I were you...
I'm not sure what else may be causing the issue unless there is some moisture in between the lens and the optical sensor. Unfortunately, that's an older model camera so it's probably cheaper to replace than to repair.
What setting are you using when taking the pictures? Is it on automatic or manual? Also, have you carefully cleaned the lens? I know that seems like something you would've already checked but sometimes you can't see small smudges and what not. Those are the only two things I can think of off...
I don't think the plastic piece lifting up has anything to do with your issue but it is possible that if the laptop did take a hard hit something could've been damaged. When the screen dims are you doing anything like moving it around, or can it happen while the computer is sitting there...
I have an S3 and just added a 32 GB PNY micro SD card. It works great. I think I paid maybe $30 for it. Go with the 32 over the 16 so you'll have plenty of room for music, movies, or whatever else you want to add.
I didn't care for the base texting app that is standard with Android phones either so I started using it a few years ago and like it much better. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
