thanks for the response so just so im clear the G710 can only take DDR3 Ram only reason i ask is i seem to be finding conflicting information on the net what i want to do is replace the current Ram with DDR4 ram i dont want to add to the exsiting RAM hope that makes things clearer

hi im trying to get some confirmation that i can upgrade my RAM in my Lenovo G710 laptop i currently have the standard 8gb DDR3 ram can any one help me as im looking to upgrade to 16GB DDR4 Ram any help would be greatfull
