    Dell locks up on audio jack unplugged

    My N7010 randomly/intermittently locks up (no blue screen or any error) when i unplug my audio jack. I have checked for any BIOS updates. None are forthcoming from Dell. Any help much appreciated.

    Problem with Headhphone microphone picking up background noise

    I had same issue and I set the default recording device as 'stereo mix' (from microphone previously) which solved the problem
