    There's no cable between. The drive bay is fixed onto the motherboard Sometimes if I run ePSA pre-boot system Assessment test it will detect that "ALL TESTS PASSED" but will still see no hard drive to boot from. I changed the BIOS from Legacy to UEF1 boot mode, no way. I left it on Factory...

    Dell inspiron s5423 not detecting hard drives. It shows check cable connection! PXE - MOF: exiting intel PXE Rom when I try to boot up the system.
