Thanks for your quick response, I don't mind the trouble of installing other windows just to update BIOS but i wouldn't want to brick my laptop. Do you really believe that trying to update BIOS from a file that is given from Lenovo's website would brick the laptop?

When i runned gpu stress it was throttling at 70C why does it throttle at 58C and when it drops to 45C why fps doesnt go up again. Also if i switch to desktop and then in game even if it is for 3 seconds the fps go back to 160+for another 15 or so minutes.

i currently have a lenovo g510 and i lately i am having to work on the laptop in the dark. I searched for a keyboard with backlit feature i haven't find anything..I found a lenovo model (Lenovo Y580) which has an identical keyboard but with backlit. My Question is can it be compatible...
I changed the thermal paste now it only hits 85C max but i also now switched off the turbo boost and it doesn't get higher than 70C and still get similar fps. What i am wondering now is, does it affect the cpu and cause problems later on?

Laptop GPUs can have 2gb VRAM even if there are low-mid range. There is no way you can play on High setting if its low-mid range GPU. I suggest you to lower your graphics setting ingame and close the anti aliasing
well i bought 2 identical laptop before 3 years and both had overheating and display issues so i give 2,5/5 stars. I would recommend you to get an ACER, Asus or Lenovo .
I wouldn't recommend a Samsung, Toshiba or Sony
