    CAN IT WORK???

    Pardon me for my ignorance but here goes: I recently got a Panasonic subwoofer + speakers for a home theatre system. The woofer has all the speaker connection bits + the HDMI input. Can I simply get a HDMI cable and connect to my TV OR do I need a receiver to go with?
