I really like the Microsoft Security Essentials, seems to work very well, I use that with Malwarebytes except I paid for it, I think its worth it when its a company that works hard and tries hand and keeps bloat out even in the free products.
I still standby my decision unless games aren't the main priority, then by all means go with the intel. Those benchmarks aren't going to mean so much when the Intel is doing the processing and running the graphics.
you can link the benchmark your looking at, if it included a GPU that would be the better PC, unless you can find a i5 laptop with a GPU in your price range :) Then go with that.

1 - Bigger HDD
2 - More memory
3 - Cheaper
4 - GPU will work better than w/out GPU
