Also adding onto the current information, before I get directed to trovi after a random google search, I get redirected to this site called charmsearching for a split second then it goes straight to trovi.

Malwarebytes did detect some malware and trojan, however after a second scan those have been cleared so nothing new has been detected, even though the issues persist. Looked at task manager just now and nothing seems suspicious in there either.
