    What's a good open-source backup program?

I will probably try XP's built in NT Backup and see what happens. I wasn't aware that XP included that, and my only experience was when we used to use it on our office Server 2003 machine at work. My experience there wasn't the best, but we were looking for a much more complicated backup...

How to empty outlook 2007 folder by specific year?

Why not just sort by received date (which most people default to anyway) and select the last message from Dec. 2010 and then shift-select the last message at the bottom of the list (oldest) and hit Delete? Seems pretty simple.

    What's a good open-source backup program?

Well I completely reformatted my 1 TB external HDD as NTFS and set up my backup jobs again. I also updated to the latest build of Acronis TI 2009 as I think the older build was having issues. Everything worked great for a week, until yesterday morning when I got a message saying the backup job...

    What's a good open-source backup program?

After my one and only hard drive in my 2006 PC build crashed a fiery death in June 2009, I vowed to never be without a backup solution ever again. My PC now has 2 internal HDD's, and I have one 1TB external HDD on my desk that use for backups. I purchased Acronis True Image 2009, but after 2...

How's Motorolla Droid as an iPhone killer?

wait, looks like Verizon's smart phones will not work with the Family Connect plans that include unlimited data. You have to add data separately for either $29.99 (monthly charge plus per MB fee) or $44.99/mo for unlimited data. Crooks. What a rip off. Damn I was really starting to like...

How's Motorolla Droid as an iPhone killer?

Any new info or reviews? Considering this for my wife and I as a cheaper (plan-wise) alternative to the iPhone, as we just can't afford the monthly bill for 2 iPhones right now. Verizon would be about $120/mo for 2 Droids w/ 700 minutes and unlimited data plan vs. $160-$170/mo for 2 iPhones w/...

Windows Server 2003 shared folder permissions

I work in a small architecture office (less than 10 people) with a server running Windows Server 2003. I have several shared folders set up for various files: - C:\Current is for all current project files - C:\Downloads is for downloaded program files or other program files that all users need...

How to uninstall Intel Desktop Utilities?

This is very very frustrating. I had installed Speedfan on my computer to monitor temps and give me some fan control, but at first found it a bit confusing. So I uninstalled it and installed Intel's Desktop Utilities software. Now I'd like to try Speedfan again, but if I start that program...
