    Thank you for your help. I will show my partner when he gets home. We are so rubbish at technology. All we know is that the DVD player has a scart socket and the TV has HDMI sockets. ,

    Hi all we have just bought a Samsung Smart TV that does not have a scart socket. We have a Sanyo DVD player with surround sound that we would like to connect to the TV. Is there a connector that has SCART at one end and HDMI at the other. Thanks
