    Graphiics Chip on Toshiba satellite:

Intel HD Graphics is part of the processor, it's not a separate dedicated graphics card. The gpu you have will depend on the processor installed in your system. I can't help with a Linux utility to identify your graphics processor but I'd be looking at the likes of GPU-Z or HWInfo if it was a...

£50 budget for an amp for Wharfdale Diamond 9.0

Unfortunately I'm going to say no, even though I've never used such a small amp. You'd be doing your speakers a disservice by hooking them up to such a rough and ready amplifier. For a pair of Wharfdale Diamonds you really need to be looking at a different price range. They're quality...

Asus eee PC 1015 pe (seashell) keyboard not right

I can think of a couple of things that could be causing the keyboard to act up. 1). The keyboard is knackered. 2). The numlock is enabled (this remaps some ofo the keyboard's keys to number pad keys as the machine is so small is doesn't have a number pad). 3). The function keys primary function...

looking to recoat my laptop with thermal paste

If you're getting problems with overheating it's more likely that your heatsinks are blocked up with hair and dust. Clean that out, apply new AC5 and you should be good to go. Of course, it should be noted that most laptops are a pain to strip down and rebuild as they were designed for...

    Complete Home Audio Solution assistance

You're asking some serious audio questions there. Not really the sort of thing many computer buffs come across. Anyway, I'll try and impart some of my limited knowledge. Astro Mixamp Pro - I don't have a clue but I would've though you could've used the TOSLink to hook up to an optical on the...

Running out of space on my laptop.

^+1 Yeah, no need for a virtual drive, just directly install the games onto the external drive. Another option is to convert the optical drive bay and install a second hard drive. The converter below I linked does 2 things 1). converts the bay so you can install a 2.5" hard drive and 2)...

Is an Intel HD Graphics card DirectX-9 capable and running at 1024x768 display resolution or better?

Intel HD Graphics is not an on-board or dedicated graphics card, it's part of the processor (integrated Graphics Processing Unit). It will display resolutions at 1024 x 768 and well above depending on the processor (and by extension the iGPU) but may require an external monitor to display those...

Need an audio wiring solution for my gaming desk

Have you checked your pc to see what audio inputs it has? Beyond the 3.5mm analogue input there is sometimes and coaxial and/or optical input.

View seperate browser windows on laptop and tv

Yes, I do it all the time. To split a browser simply click the tab of the chosen window and drag it to the screen you want it on. An alternative is to install multiple web browsers and view one while browsing another.

    Processor upgrade for laptop

In short, no. They use different sockets. I know that a number of laptop processors are soldered in place as it uses less space and I wouldn't be surprised if your is one of them.

    Lip Sync Hdmi

It's not an issue with your cables. It's a feature which was designed to work with cinema systems. To fix it on you tv, go into your tv audio settings. You should have a setting which adjust the audio sync (on My LG tv it's called AV Sync). From here in it's a bit hit and miss and you may...

Can I get a virus from going to a website?

Sadly, you can get a whole lot more than viruses just by visiting a web site. Make sure you have a good internet security program, keep it up to date, and be careful of the sites you visit.
