    Need to fry my laptop

number one, this thread made my day. Hmm, to fry your laptop, this'll be a tricky one. Maybe cut the cords that the RAM plugs into? I think on laptops the RAM plugs into tiny cords that you could mess up. Maybe blowtorch the USB slots, HDMI slots, VGA ports, etc. or better yet blowtorch the...

(ayy a metalhead) any headset'll do honestly. THIS is PCGamer's recommended headset, the HyperXCloud (I linked Version 2 of it)

Sony Vegas 13 render lighting issues

did you render at a constant bitrate? I believe it's set to variable on default so set it to constant, then set a good bitrate and render

    is it good for gamming

with all these high demanding games you've listed I would custom build a PC with the best APU paired with the highest clocked (AFFORDABLE) DDR3 memory, probably the new Godavari APU released this month.

Xbox One sound occasionally cuts out

if it isn't the HDMI cord and it's an internal or OS problem, call up Microsoft. Best part about console gaming in my opinion, you don't have to sit around for 5 hours troubleshooting the problem, make them deal with it because it should be under warranty.

Opinions on Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Software

if you need something a bit "heavy" check out Comodo software. Their Internet Security package features a pretty dank antivirus and firewall, all completely free.

    Background Data Traffic

hmm, maybe a power-saving mode may be of use to you, limiting the background processes on your phone. Then just disable all the crapware most android phones come with through the "applications manager" section of your settings and that should be as good as you can get it

    Bi amping - speaker gauge

different gauges = different thickness. Shouldn't damage anything. However, bi-amping such thick gauges may not even work (for example, my older speaker system wouldn't bi-amp two left speakers with 14 gauge copper, had to run out and get 16-gauge to get it to work). Check the (for lack of...

Is there a test I can perform to see if my logitech G430 headset suffers from static issues or not?

try plugging it into other computers, phones, etc. and see if it suffers from the same issue. If it does, then it's probably a static issue. But from a software side it's pretty much impossible for a piece of software to determine this.

PC freezes a few minutes after start up if I have anything plugged in the USB slots

Interesting, I would try updating the mobo drivers and updating BIOS before doing anything else
