    That's really weird... Are you sure there's no factory reset or "wipe data" option? Or anything similar to this.. Anyway beyond that, are you comfortable flashing the ROM (installing OS)?

    Would be helpful if you indicated what phone you are using. From what i understood.. the phone still gets into the recovery mode screen?
