Hello guys, i had the same issues as you described on my new Lenovo Y50-70 (non-touch). (SSHD freezes, slow loadings, startup, screen flickers and blinking, total freeze when i disconnected AC plug) and so on... The thing that helped me is completely uninstalling video drivers for Nvidia...
