Thanks for all the help /comments. Sorry for incomplete info. My phone is not the Maven N812, it's the ZTE N817. I'm installing an 8 GB micro SD card. According to mfg this card is not a problem for this cell. I'm still concerned whether I need a tools or APK app for this install.

I installed SD maid to help but file mgr In cell didn't have app mgr for starters. Do I need a "tools" app or to Download APK app to help me with SD install- my memory is low, I'm New to all of this but I know I need a smart solution.... Help ! Peg
