Just coming back to say that while the battery isn't in great shape, the issue does not seem to be the battery. I let it run while I was doing other things for a few hours yesterday and when I came back instead of saying 98% it said 0%. I thought that meant it was shot, but today after a weird...

When I unplug my laptop it instantly shuts up despite the battery being at 98%. According to HWmonitor my battery has 55% wear, 15V, and 40200 capacity so it looks like it should at least hold some amount of charge. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
