haha, download cpuz. if you aren't familiar with that program, google it.. you'll be aBLe to find it in your first search link. download the app, run it and it will give you detailed specifications on your processor.

the t60 is packed with the latest tech. And i find ibm's to be exceptionally light compared to dell or hp. So.. if it is almost free, it'll be worth it. I doubt you'll be disappointed with the performance. Althought, the only problem i have with ibm's are their looks.. haha. Strictly business!

hmm, well all 15.4 inch laptops i've ever tried (dell, asus, acer) had lasted 2.5 -3 hours with music/ couple shows and some chit chattin.. im not sure if battery life is something you should set high expectations for. As for what viperabyss said.... im not so sure you can generalize dell's...

it depends on what you're planning to do with it. If you need one to just do simple tasks like chatting and music/movies, i'd go for a simple dell inspiron. If you plan on playing lightweight games... i'd go for an asus or toshiba.. you could find a decent gaming one on newegg for around 1500...

i too believe it is your onboard sound. and i also always recommend a soundcard. Especially with a set of bose headphones. Should never go sheap on sound card and pair em up with expensive audio equipment. You'll notice the quality upgrade too.

uhh, which pairs of earphones are oem fakes? because i've bought two pairs of the sennheiser cx300 from this hongkong retailer on ebay. They are a great pair of earphones for only 5 buks cad. but the s&h brought it up to 23 buks CAD. anyway, i'd go for the cx300. Sennheiser never disappoints me...
