Thanks for the info, but I notice it's for a Windows 7 model. The information probably holds for Vista as well, but I've seen both Vista 32-bit and Vista 64-bit mentioned for this laptop (in unofficial places such as Ebay listings), hence my state of mild confusion.

Please could someone tell me if an Acer 5738Z with 4Gb ram will come with Vista 32-bit or 64-bit? I can find no information on this, though I suppose common sense would dictate they would provide the 64-bit version so that all the ram is accessible.
